On the street, in a square or inside a railway concourse, you chance upon a strange assortment of rail signage conjuring up the world of travel. You take a step closer and the traffic signs and lights come to life, launching into a tale of sights and sounds on the theme of journeys. Onlookers become active participants, conductors orchestrating their own adventure as they explore this forest of signage sculptures. The installation creates an environment that they can move about and discover, where their movements help create the artwork with the aid of a system of sensors. Singing signs can also serve as the backdrop for artistic performances with dancers and actors.
